The taber wear tester is used to test the wear resistance of leather, plastics and other materials. By means of rotary grinding, different types of friction wheels are used to rotate and rub the samples to test the wear resistance of materials. experiment procedure:

Clamping sample:

1. Place the cut sample on the test bench according to the standard requirements.

2. Keep the sample flat, tighten the compression nut and washer, and fasten the sample fixing ring with a hexagonal wrench.

Clamping wear wheels and weights:

1. Install the pre-ground standard wear wheel on the front inner side of the balance arm, and tighten the compression nut.

2. Clamp the corresponding weight or balance weight according to the required pressure.

3. Install the wear wheel of the corresponding specification according to the specifications of the wear wheel tested for different materials in the corresponding standard.

Maintenance Procedures:

1. After each use of the instrument, first turn off the power supply, remove the test sample from the device, and then wipe off the dust and stains on the instrument with a clean dry cotton cloth to completely restore the normal state before use.

2. The ambient temperature in which the instrument is placed should not be too high, and the relative humidity should not be too large.

3. When the instrument is infrequently used, the outside should be cleaned once in a while, and the power should be energized irregularly to avoid the circuit being damp and bad.
