Salt Spray (Fog) Test Chamber - Installation and Use Manual

Salt Spray (Fog) Test Chamber - Installation and Use Manual

The following is a general guide to the general salt spray tester installation and use manual. Please note that specific installation and use procedures may vary depending on the make and model of the salt spray tester. Therefore, always refer to the operating manual for the particular unit and the instructions provided by the manufacturer before using the unit.

Installation steps:

1. Choose a suitable installation location: Make sure the test chamber is installed in a well-ventilated, stable place and away from corrosive, flammable or explosive materials.

2. Connect the power supply according to the equipment specifications: Make sure the power supply provided matches the equipment requirements and is properly grounded to ensure equipment safety.

3. connect the air supply (if applicable): if the salt spray tester requires an air supply (e.g. air compressor), connect the air supply according to the equipment requirements and make sure that the pressure of the air supply meets the equipment requirements.

4. Connect exhaust gas discharge (if applicable): If the salt spray tester has an exhaust gas discharge function, the exhaust gas piping needs to be connected to an appropriate discharge system.

Steps for use:

1. Prepare the sample: Prepare the sample to be tested for salt spray according to the required test items. Make sure the sample surface is clean and free of grease, stains or other contaminants.

2. Adjust Test Parameters: Set the appropriate test parameters, such as temperature, humidity and brine spraying time, according to the desired test criteria and requirements.

3. Place the sample: Place the sample on the sample rack inside the test chamber and make sure there is enough space between the samples to avoid interfering with the test results.

4. Start the test: Start the test program according to the instruction of the equipment operation manual. The salt spray tester will automatically convert the salt water into mist and spray it on the samples through the nozzles.

5. Monitor and record: During the test, closely monitor the operating status of the tester and note any abnormalities. Regularly record the temperature, humidity and test time parameters of the salt spray test chamber.

6. end the test: according to the test requirements, after reaching the set test time, stop the test and turn off the salt spray test chamber.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the inside and outside of the salt spray test chamber after use to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Regularly maintain the equipment and calibrate the relevant instruments.

Please note that the above are general guidelines and specific installation and use procedures may vary from one salt spray tester to another. Before using a specific piece of equipment, be sure to read the equipment operation manual carefully and follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
