Xenon lamp aging box lamp tube

QUV Fluorescent Tube:

All QUV aging test machine lamps emit mainly ultraviolet light, with a small amount of visible or infrared light. Electricity consumption is equivalent to a regular 40 watt fluorescent lamp. However, the total energy and spectrum of emitted ultraviolet rays differ depending on the type of lamp emission. Fluorescent ultraviolet tubes are usually divided into UV-A and UV-B tubes, and their names depend on the area with the highest output.

UV-A tubes are particularly useful when comparing different types of polymers. Because UV-A tubes have no UV output when they are below the normal solar cutoff point of 295 nanometers, they typically do not age the material as quickly as UV-B tubes. However, they often provide better spectra than actual outdoor aging tests.

UV-B radiation includes the shortest wavelength of sunlight on the surface of the Earth. Therefore, fluorescent UV-B tubes are widely used for quality control and research and development to achieve fast and economical results. Because all UV-B tubes emit non natural, short wave ultraviolet radiation, abnormal results may occur below the solar cutoff point of 295 nanometers. Both types of UV-B tubes are available. They emit different total energy, but can produce ultraviolet wavelengths in the same proportion.

QUV lamp tube

Q-Lab can provide the highest quality UV fluorescent tubes. The frequency spectrum generated by the lamp tube is stable during its use. Each production batch must pass a series of rigorous tests before being approved for sale. The results proved that the QUV test chamber provided the most consistent and stable spectra year after year.

Several different types of UV lamps can be suitable for different applications, as listed below. Refer to the QUV test box page and the lamp label for more detailed information.

QUV lamp tube part number (except for QUV/basic type)

UVA-340: QUV UV-A 340nm lamp tube (replace every 8000 hours or when the set point cannot be maintained)

UVB-313: QUV UV-B 313nm lamp tube (replace every 8000 hours or when the set point cannot be maintained)

QFS-40: QUV QFS-40 (F40 UV-B) lamp tube (replace every 8000 hours or when the set point cannot be maintained)

UVA-351: QUV UV-A 351nm lamp tube (replace every 8000 hours or when the set point cannot be maintained)

QUV cold white light tube (replace every 8000 hours or when the set point cannot be maintained)
