Selection and purchase of gas analysis instruments

Gas analysis instruments are process analysis instruments that measure the composition of gases. In many production processes, especially those involving chemical reactions, automatic control based solely on physical parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate is often insufficient. Due to the vast diversity of gases being analyzed and the diverse principles of analysis, there are various types of gas analysis instruments. Commonly used include thermal conductivity gas analysis instruments, electrochemical gas analysis instruments, and infrared absorption analyzers.

The selection of gas detectors should be determined based on the properties of the detected gas, and catalytic combustion or infrared gas detectors can be used for combustible gases; When the air in the place of use contains a medium that can poison catalytic combustion detection components, an anti toxic catalytic combustion detection device should be selected; In places with oxygen deficiency or high corrosiveness, it is advisable to use infrared gas detectors; Hydrogen detection can use catalytic combustion type, electrochemical type, thermal conductivity type, or semiconductor type detectors (probes); For detecting combustible gases with a single component, it is advisable to use a heat conduction type detector (detector); Electrochemical or semiconductor type detectors can be used for hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, acrylonitrile gas, and carbon monoxide gas; Benzene gas can be detected using semi conductive or photoionization detectors. While considering gas detection, selection should also be based on the characteristics and lifespan of combustible and toxic gas alarm sensors.
