The Toyota Special Abrasion Tester is a precision wear testing instrument designed to evaluate the abrasion resistance, frictional colorfastness, and color transfer of materials such as leather, fabrics, plastics, and polymers. The tester features four independent test stations, each equipped with a 1 kg friction head, allowing simultaneous testing of up to four specimens. Each sample fixture can apply up to 10% tensile force when secured to the oscillating test bed, ensuring accurate simulation of real-world stresses.
