Applicable standards:

GB 11550-2009 "Performance requirements and test methods for car seat headrest" : Appendix B of this standard specifies the requirements and test methods for energy absorption test, which is suitable for the impact strength test of car seat headrest.

GB 15083-2006 "Automobile seats, seat fixtures and headrest strength requirements and test methods" : Appendix C of this standard specifies the requirements and test methods of seat energy absorption test, which is also applicable to the impact strength test of car seat headrest.

ECE R21, R17, R80 and other EC regulations: These regulations regulate the strength and safety of car seats and their components (including headrests) and contain relevant impact strength testing requirements.

Impact speed The impact speed of the tester is usually between 25 and 30 km/h, serving as a critical parameter to simulate vehicle collision or deceleration. The specific speed value should be determined based on test criteria and seat type.
Impact head type The impact head type is a component designed to simulate the shape and mass of a passenger's head. Its parameters, such as diameter and equivalent mass, must comply with relevant standards. A common impact head has a diameter of 165 mm and an equivalent mass of approximately 6.8 kg.
Measurement accuracy The tester's measurement accuracy includes parameters like impact velocity and acceleration measurement accuracy, which determine the precision and reliability of test results. Typically, impact velocity measurement accuracy should be around ±1%, and acceleration measurement accuracy should be approximately ±3%.
Adjustment range The tester's impact arm usually has a wide adjustment range in the Z-direction to accommodate various seat types and testing requirements. Additionally, the impact arm's angle can be adjusted to simulate collisions at different angles.
Data acquisition and processing The tester must be equipped with a high-speed data acquisition system capable of real-time recording of test data, such as impact speed, acceleration, and deceleration. The system should also support subsequent data processing and analysis to generate accurate test results.
Safety protection The tester must include comprehensive safety measures, such as safety nets, emergency stop buttons, etc., to ensure the safety and reliability of the testing process.
